Multiple-Vector Model Predictive Control with Fuzzy Logic for PMSM Electric Drive Systems

This article presents a multiple-vector finite-control-set model predictive control (MV-FCS-MPC) scheme with fuzzy logic for permanent-magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) used in electric drive systems. The proposed technique is based on discrete space vector modulation (DSVM). converter’s real voltage vectors are utilized along new virtual to form switching sequences each sampling period order improve the steady-state performance. Furthermore, obtain reference (VV) directly from current and reduce calculation load of MV-FCS-MPC technique, deadbeat function (DB) added. Subsequently, best or be applied next instant selected certain cost function. Moreover, controller employed outer loop controlling speed rotor. Accordingly, dynamic response improved difficulty proportional-integral (PI) tuning avoided. suggested verified by simulation results compared that conventional FCS-MPC.
